Hikikomori is a performative installation i was part of in September 2017. It's a sound, video, object, costume and live performing installation that takes place in different locations around Romania.
It is based on a text by Holger Schober / translated by Ciprian Marinescu. The concept of the installation and the sound-design belong to Vlaicu Golcea who gathered some really good artists around him, and basically, let everybody do their own thing, taking the text as the starting point. My videos have a point when viewed during the performance, so I'll only leave the trailer here, and some pictures of the space.
Space / costumes: Cristina Milea, assistant: Gabriella Spiridon.
Video-art: Mihai Păcurar.
Performers: Nicoleta Lefter, Emil Măndănac, Raluca Aprodu.
The first venue we performed in was this small gallery space in Bucharest, separated from the street only by a glass wall, which made the whole thing (considering the subject) even more special.
