Presence

Presence is a video installation I did for a group exhibition on the theme of empathy, curated and organized by Black Horse Mansion. The piece consists of a broken LED monitor and a 10 minute video footage of a forest edge just outside Arad. My aim was to try to create a context in which the viewers could question their relationship to our non-human partners and explore the concept of presence as a possible alternative to empathy.
