My 6th collaboration with Theodor Cristian Popescu, this show is based on the eponymous play by Roland Scimmelpfennig. The structure of the play gives a lot of liberty with the material, so this written-for-children text can become literally anything on stage. We opted for a multi-layered narration mechanism in which the three performers control the text, the projected images, the lights and sometimes the sound. This way, we constructed a series of set-ups which allowed them to move live through the story, taking the audience on a very intimate ride. Again, I had the pleasure of working with Lucian Moga on the lights.
