Panasonic MS4

Part of the Media Art Festival 4, Cinema. Arad, September 2017. I see this installation as the translation of a process that has been a priority of sorts in my research for a long time. The process can be defined easily as self-analysis and described as a never-ending and extremely confusing game of switching-places between introspection and contemplation. As far as the process got me, I felt that we are rarely able to distinct on which side we position ourselves and more than that, we tend to tilt the balance in the favor of contemplation of our own self. The narcissistic or analytic natures of the process become irrelevant, self-contemplation turning – especially at large scales – in an important instrument for perpetuating culture within our society.
