October, 2007, Luxembourg. Set, costumes and video design. My third collaboration with Radu Afrim was again a very minimalist piece, basing most of the visual ensemble on the video projection. The main feature though, was the black mirror-like floor which was speculated in many of the images projected on the screen. Matei Visniec's play uses Emil Cioran as a vehicle to explore themes such as memory, death or depression, and Radu did it in a very poetic, candid way, so that was for me also the main goal, achieving this sort of mood in the end.
