For the projection, I opted for a monochrome range, to contrast the bright colors of the set. As images, it worked very subdued, on an almost subliminal level.

September, 2016, Sibiu, Romania. Set, costumes, video and light design. The play from Marius von Mayenburg, staged by Radu Nica at the German Section Of the Sibiu National Theatre. The play touches a lot of very sensitive issues, like God, Church, belief, creation vs evolution. My take on the space was to provide a sort of installation, a hybrid between a playground and a church, to have it function as basis for spatial relations, and as well as a comment in itself regarding the theme.
