National Theater in Craiova, set, costume and video design. My 6th collaboration with Theodor-Cristian Popescu, and my 3rd meeting with a text by Marius von Mayenburg. Probably the most powerful yet. It explores the rise of our dark side, as a humans living in a globalized society. As usually, Cristian guided the process with great finesse, allowing me to conceive the setting as a very ambiguous space, allowing the audience to flow in its fluid identity as the show unfolds. The video part consisted mainly of (again) ambiguous animated textures, almost like a set of Rorschach hypnosis cards. Definitely a step up for me, and a great joy to work on.
