All is Well When it Ends
September 2019, Reactor de creatie si experiment, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Stage / light / video design. Andreea Tanase's play was written during the Drama 5 2019 Programme, a residency that allows young playwrights to develop plays under the coordination of established figures. Radu Nica and I were invited to choose out of these plays one that we thought had the most potential to become a show in Reactor's repertoire. The play tackles a very hard-edged subject - divorce. So we decided to accompany a very straight-forward acting style with a light/shape/video installation that explores the relation between body and mind, between being and not being together.
