Actreses, Or Sorry for Touching You
This is a video and sound installation which had its premiere in june 2022 at Goethe Institute's Pavilion 32 in Bucharest. It addresses the physical and emotional abuse present in cultural institutions and collectives. It talks about the hierarchical system of the theatrical environment, where the involved decision-makers, who exercise their power in a pyramidal way, accept, tacitly or openly, abusive situations in work processes. The play was written by Michał Telega and translated by Marina Palii. It features the motion capture performances and voices of Mădălina Mușat, Paula Dunker, Oana Hodade, Oana Pușcatu and Carmen Ghiurco and the music and voice of Kinga Ötvös. The music and sound design of the piece were created by Vlaicu Golcea. The technical support and magic was provided by Alexandru Andrei.
